Contoh Pengaruh Tenses dalam Kalimat Causative (Have Something Done)

Berikut ini ialah pola pengaruh tenses pada kalimat causative yang menimbulkan perubahan bentuk kata.

Contohnya: Ada orang lain yang mengecat rumahnya.

• present simple  -  He has his house painted.
• present continuous  -   He is having his house painted. 
• past simple   -  He had his house painted. 
• past continuous   -  He was having his house painted. 
• present perfect  -   He has had his house painted. 
• present perfect continuous  -   He has been having his house painted. 
• past perfect   -  He had had his house painted.
• past perfect continuous  -   He had been having his house painted. 
• future simple   -  He will have his house painted. 
• future continuous   -  He will be having his house painted. 

Kalimat aktif yang diubah menjadi kalimat causative dapat dipelajari dari contoh-contoh berikut:



1. Present Simple:
He cleans his shoes.
Bentuk Causative: He has his shoes cleaned.

2. Present Continuous:
He is mending the car.
Bentuk Causative: He is having his car mended.

3. Past Simple:
She watered the flower.
Bentuk Causative: She had the flower watered.

4. Past Continuous:
She was perming her hair.
Bentuk Causative: She was having her hair permed.

5. Future Simple:
Mother will repair the roof.
Bentuk Causative: Mother will have the roof repaired.

6. Present Perfect:
The boss has cleaned the windows.
Bentuk Causative: The boss had had the windows cleaned.

7. Present Perfect Continuous:
He has been taking photos.
Bentuk Causative: He has been having photos taken.

8. Past Perfect:
You had ironed your trouser.
Bentuk Causative: You had had your trouser ironed.

9. Past Perfect Continuous:
He had been decorating his hotel.
Bentuk Causative: He had been having his hotel decorated.

10. Modal/Infinitive:
She must send the package.
Bentuk Causative: She must have the package sent.

11. Future Continuous:
I will be cutting my expenses.
Bentuk Causative: I will be having my expenses cut.
